Metro Gives

Each year, in preparation for the end of the calendar year, Metro launches Metro Gives. This is an annual fundraising drive that all families have the opportunity to participate in. This year's Metro Gives projects include:

Visual Arts- FUNDRAISING GOAL: $7,000

As the world of art continues to expand digitally, Metro Christian students need tools that match their talents and imaginations. To equip our Visual Arts Program, Metro will add four new iPads, two iPad Minis, and one Mac Mini.These devices allow students to explore digital illustration, photography, animation, and graphic design.

Smartboards- FUNDRAISING GOAL: $70,000

Teachers can easily create collaborative activities using Smartboard technology — strengthening students’ learning experiences. Metro Christian has been blessed to add new boards to many classrooms over the years, however there are still many more that need replaced. The school looks to add 14 new boards from funds raised during the >2025 METRO GIVES Annual Appeal. 

Activity Van- FUNDRAISING GOAL: $45,000

Each year, Metro’s activity vans safely transport students to and from events, competitions, and activities. As the school’s programs continue to grow, Metro Christian is in need of adding another van to the fleet to help keep our Patriots on the move.

Athletic Improvements- FUNDRAISING GOAL: $115,000

Basketball Shot Clocks-The OSSAA has adopted the use of the shot clock, effective for the 2026-2027 season. Metro Christian plans to purchase shot clocks that will work with the current video boards. The shot clocks will display the time to shoot as well as game time.

Boys’ Locker Room Shower Fixtures- Metro Christian Athletics seeks to continue the Boys’ Locker Room improvements by updating the shower and toilet fixtures, and replacing the old flooring with longer-lasting rubber flooring.

Girls’ Locker Room Annex- Continuing a multi-phase, multi-year goal to improve Athletic facilities, Metro Christian wants to renovate the Lady Patriots Locker Room Annex with LED lighting, paint, and new flooring to coordinate with the main Girls’ Locker Room improvements already completed.
